builds close working relationships with clients to create One Nation Films, LLC projects. She also produces and directs many of the projects at One Nation Films. Marlo is an award-winning writer and director whose experience in the industry spans thirty years. She began her career in front of the camera, as a host for PM Magazine, and later as a news reporter for both CBS Network News and NBC’s Today Show. Behind the camera, she was the co-creator and executive producer of two original television series. “Earthbeat,” created for TBN, focused on solutions to environmental problems and the reality show “First Response,” for the USA network, depicted the daily drama of firefighters’ lives. Marlo has produced several programs for PBS on the arts, science, and youth culture. Her awards include 2 Emmys, winner at the Chicago International Film Festival, second place the Houston Film Festival, and a Cine Gold Eagle.
As the Managing Partner of ONF, she established an educational media division with repeat business from major publishing companies. One Nation Films is currently in production on 2 independent film projects which Marlo directed. In 2003, she married co-founder Frank Rees and is also known now as Marlo Coleman Rees.

brings a driving entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen to One Nation Films, LLC. Frank founded Energy Management Associates, Inc.—a dominant software and strategic consulting firm serving the electric and gas utilities industry. He was CEO of EMA for 18 years before selling his company to Electronic Data Systems. Frank has served as a board member and investor in a number of start-up companies. He is CFO and cofounder of Devastudios Inc., a motion graphics company focused on theatrical advertising. He was a mentor in the entrepreneur program at the Stanford Business School when he met Marlo. Frank believes creativity thrives best in an environment that provides adequate financial support and strong management systems. Frank executes contracts and agreements at ONF.

works on all the creative aspects of One Nation Films projects, from concept to completion. He brings nearly 40 years of varied and highly skilled broadcast experience and technical know-how to ONF. Milt worked for Portland network news affiliates KATU (ABC) and KGW-TV (NBC) as both a film editor and shooter. During this time, he picked up dozens of regional awards and a handful of national awards including a National Press Photographer Association Feature award and a Peabody Award for a documentary, which he shot and edited. In 1992, the lure of documentary and high quality production led Milt to Oregon Public Broadcasting, where he traveled the world shooting a variety of programs, before settling down as OPB Chief Editor in 1997. In 1999, he was promoted to Director of Production Services. In that role he was in charge of all OPB production facilities and crews as well occasionally directing and producing projects. An active musician, Milt continues to be fascinated by the many parallels between video production and music composition.

is our production renaissance woman. She works on editorial content and project design including storyboards, coordinates video, audio and post production, manages projects and creates marketing materials. Over the last 5 years at ONF, Lisa has developed a specialty in educational media design with an emphasis on World Languages and Social Studies. Lisa has had previous careers as a pastry chef, test kitchen director of a national magazine and as freelance food stylist and editor on the East Coast. She has also taught cooking classes, run a cooking school, and worked as a food scientist. Her loves include all types of animation, video editing, sustainable agriculture and organic gardening.

brings a wealth of organizational skills and an aptitude for visual design to One Nation Films. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York for 2 years and rounded out her job skill set by working nights at the seventies-themed nightclub, Pollyesther’s. She returned to hometown Portland, attended culinary school, and subsequently logged 7 years in 2 of our most acclaimed bakeries as a pastry diva. Her hobbies include eating, cooking, knitting, music, swimming in the ocean, making people laugh, and travel. Her goal is to eat in as many countries as possible.
